All That Is Left Behind was composed and recorded
from January until July 2023.

The concept of the album is about a disaster, striking
the Earth, leading to an almost apocalyptic situation.

All music composed, arranged and
performed by Gert Emmens in his
studio in Ede, Netherlands.

Many thanks to Ron Boots for the
confidence, Laila Quaraishi for all the
love and much more, Ruud Heij.

The story behind this performance started in November 2023 when Harald Gramberg asked me if I was interested to perform at the third edition of the Dutch Electronic Masters Festival. After I sad yes to perform on stage I started to create a set which would be a nice compilation of (mostly) Groove licensed albums. My last solo performance was at a local festival in my hometown and that was a kind of try-out for later concerts to me.
At this DEM concert I played more piano pieces (Nord Electro 3), and the audience loved that from what I noticed.
To create atmospheric ambiance and rhythmic patterns. I used two modular setups for sequencing, one controlled by the Moog Matriarch (track 3) and one controlled by the Behringer Deepmind (all other tracks).
The performance went very smooth, I had no technical issues, and believe me its always a challenge when you move ¾ of your studio to stage.

I want to thank Harald Gramberg and Gerrit Vos, the organizers of the DEM festivals.. I also say thank you to Ron Boots and his “minions”, they are very helpful!  And thanks to the lovely audience, special the Belgian lady who asked me, where is the computer….

gr-389 – Peru – Constellations
Available as CD.
https://www.groove.nl/shop/peru-constellations/?v=1a13105b7e4e

41 years ago I bought this album on Vinyl. Since then I wanted it on CD and now it will be soon available!!
gr-389 – Peru – Constellations. (The original 1981 version)
Including 3 special bonus tracks from that era!!
Thanks to Rob Papen to make this release possible!!

On this CD, the original masters from 1981 are used. The first released CD version of Constellations had remixed tracks and 1988 music, not related to the original Constellations album. This new pressed CD has the original masters, including 3 bonus tracks with unique demo tapes of Utopie and Deja Vu, and a never-released track from that period called ‘Capricornus’

One thing I corrected that was incorrect on the released LP (Album) was that I used a GEM-H7000 organ on this album. For the strings, some spacy vibes sounds and it had a monophonic synth on board as well. Below a picture of this organ.

gr-390 – Tira (feat Missi Wainwright) – Time Travel
Available as CD/Flac/mp3 (CD contains a free mp3 version of the album) :
https://www.groove.nl/shop/tira-feat-missi-wainwright-time-travel/?v=1a13105b7e4e
Also available on Bandcamp:

TIMETRAVEL – Traveling through time, in time, with time… what actually
happens? Have time, lose time… what is this, time? Is it a dimension or just a
sensation? You can feel them, but you can’t grab them.
Time is fleeting!

To be concretely in a time and to experience with it the dissolution of one’s self
is all destiny! For the first time, this new CD does not describe a concrete
journey in the sense of a new location, but it is the element of time – the
traveler himself – which is themed here.
Through its exceptional composer Ralf Gülpen, TIRA – The Art of Dance has
once again succeeded in presenting a difficult theme in an excellent ambientmusical
implementation – sometimes rhythmic, sometimes swinging – supplemented for the first time by the vocal inserts of the vocal artist Missi
Wainwright, which are spherically interwoven with the instrumentation.

Individual scores are raised by them to sound cathedrals.
Time does not flow linearly, it is speed-dependent and interwoven with gravity.
Consequently, the supporting sound arcades as a whole carry a gigantic sound
vault and the listener dissolves in the flow of time.
Go on a great sound adventure with us!

Wilfried Schüller

So these are now also available for you to get.
I will make a new Dreamscape this week so next weekend we will have new music!!

Thanks for your time

Ron and Monique.

E-Day 2025 E-Day 2025
=====================

So E-day is over and what a day it was!!
Over 285 people came to join us this day! (Visitors, Guests and Artists. It was very nice weather and it made the foyer less crammed because we could sit outside !!
We (Ian and me) and Beyond Berlin could already get in on the Friday so set up was a breeze (it never is!!) This made the setup for Saturday relaxed and with only 2 acts to be building up it was a nice quiet morning for me!

Stand area was ready on 12.00 when the first visitors came in.
With DIN / Manikin / Desert Island / Lambert / Erbe / Tira / Robert Marselje and AE Projects we had enough cool artists for people to talk to and get new music. Other musicians as Rob Papen / C-Jay / Free System Project guys and many Belgium musicians made it a great day to meet your fav. musicians. As always I had little time to get to the Foyer during the day but it looked there was a great vibe!

And then the 4 concerts:
Wega (Alexander Hardt) –
A really great live set that was rythmic and atmospheric. Loved it!!
Wega is a true musical trip into fantasy land.

Beyond Berlin (Rene de Bakker and Martin Peters) –
The name says it all, warm sounds vibrant sequences and slow moving music that evolves into a sound that brings you into a dreamlike state!!

Thorsten Quaeschning, Paul Frick and Harold Grosskopf.
We are transported back to the 70’s with a very Krautrock feel. This was a surprise and I loved it. A great performance. And I need to mention Harold Grosskopf, first his Dutch introduction was cool!! And yes he still is the most inventive drummer I ever heard live. His speed and feel for the groove is second to none! What a performer!!

And the set Ian, Harold and I did was great todo. People liked it what I gathered 🙂
Sadly I missed all Icing Wolf sets (as always with the upperrroom concerts!) But the reactions I got where cool!!

I want to thank all people that helped, the guys from the Stoelendans, my Minions (helpers) (Johan, Alex, Jacqueline, Harold, Andre, Bert, Celine, Sanne, Janis and Dylan). And especially my love Monique and my friend Stefan Whitlan.
And last but not least you the visitors who made this a great day!!
