Tranquillity (that’s not how we would spell it) is German synthesist Frank Makowski. With Core, Makowski continues to delve into earlier and earlier Tangerine Dream styles with each album, in this case mid-to-late 1970s T. Dream. Core is even more atmospheric and sinister than Deus Ex Machina, excellent ambient sequencer-driven Berlin school EM.
