Universal Music has compiled a new Vangelis collection, which was released as Odyssey – The Definitive Collection on October 6th in some European countries and throughout the rest of Europe during October.
A US release is expected soon. The album includes music from all of Vangelis‘ solo periods, from the early 70s to the 00s, and from all record companies he has been signed to. The release for the UK and USA will have the classic track Alpha (known from Carl Sagan‘s Cosmos series) while the rest of the world will have Vangelis‘ FIFA World Cup 2002 theme Anthem in stead.
