Bertrand Loreau – Au début était le rêve

This is Bertrand’s first album entirely dedicated to the piano. It originated from an improvisation recorded over an hour on a digital piano in 2009, but re-recorded and slightly reworked in 2024 using the MIDI file Bertrand had kept. Although a departure from his usual Berlin School or melodic productions, this music still reflects the influence of classical music and jazz that sometimes surfaces in his electronic albums.
