International award-winning Australian electronic musician and composer, Jim Ottaway, has just released his new ambient/electronic album… INFINITE UNIVERSES. This album follows on from his well-received electronic album from 2022… SOMEWHERE IN-BETWEEN, and his international award-winning albums… WHEN ETERNITY TOUCHES TIME, DEEP SPACE BLUE and TIMELESS e-MOTION.

Jim says that INFINITE UNIVERSES is the next natural progression in his series of space ambient/electronic albums including THRESHOLD OF THE UNIVERSE (2021), BEYOND THE PURPLE SUN (2019), DEEP SPACE BLUE (2017) and SOUTHERN CROSS (2016).

Jim’s new album consists of nine (9) ambient electronic tracks all focusing on the beauty, wonder and complexities of the universe. The album also asks the question… “Could it be that our universe is just one part of a multitude of universes… an infinity of universes… a multiverse?”. An intriguing question, indeed.

As with all of Jim’s albums, Jim states that the tracks on this album were chosen from many hours of recorded music he has in his music vault. Jim choices the tracks from his ‘vault’ to best suit the theme of each album. Most tracks on INFINITE UNIVERSES were composed and recorded in the last few years, however some tracks were composed and recorded as early as 2008. However, all the tracks on the album had additional recordings added in the last six months and recording and production were completed in May 2023.

Jim composes and records all his music in his home studio situated at the foothills of the beautiful Springbrook Mountain on the Gold Coast, Australia.
