This is actually straight forward outing than the aforementioned release with the orchestra influences of “Horizont” giving way to a style more in keeping with the current European rhythmic school. Tracks such as “Discovery” & “War and Peace” all showcase the more uptempo and of EM spectrum while “Royal Mission” & “Invention Of Enthusiastic Sleeper” (?) all sit within the midtempo range so prevalent in many European releases although the laughter at the end of the latter is a novel twist. The rhythms that grace “Flat Or Round”? even seems to hint at ambient scene and show Robert widening his palette of styles to good effect. He also seems to perfected the knack of cramming as much as possible into the relatively short tracks with the result that each one seems to last longer than it actually does. (in the nicest possible way, of course!!)
